Shadow Boxing

if i shadow box insanity
waiting in the corner
and wait till i get in
one of those knockout blows
because you know in life’s theatre
you have to wait before you go
if i fall down
and suddenly it is just too much
as the world carries on
and i do not get up
then be there for me
with that immeasurable helping hand
if i run but i cannot hide
and if you can,
could you find the beauty inside
