Cut Your Losses and Go – Written Tuesday 24th October 2000 (Aged 25)

Cut Your Losses and Go

cut your losses and go
for your mighty gamble
you do not have anything to show
a win that will not commit
and a soul no so dedicated
perhaps, only, to the one before
cut your losses and go
it is not worth the hurt
people means well,
but you can never tell
cut your losses and go
for your mighty gamble
you do not have anything to show
a broken heart is no achievement
it only shows you have bereavement
cut your losses and go
save yourself from the cold
