Let Your Crazy Go Free

make peace with yourself
let your, ‘crazy’, go free
cuddle up on the sofa
cuddle into me
let yourself be, ‘okay’ –
with who you are
why fight others expectations
when the sum is impossibly hard

let your, ‘crazy’, go free
cuddle up to middle age
cuddle into me
i hate been as broken –
as all the rest
why have any of us wasted a life
trying to clean up a never ending mess

just do well
just be kind
keep one eye on what is in front of you
and one eye on what is behind
leave your, ‘crazy’
it is time for it to go
circular boats and heavy floats
give it a paddle so it can row
make peace with yourself
let your, ‘crazy’, go free
