Flesh and Blood

some people are made of flesh and blood
some people need a lot of attention
for some there can never be enough
some parents are able to give real emotion
yet some are made of whiskey and coke
and in all the childhood commotion
some parents become a poorly executed joke
some people are made of iron and steel
some people manage to successfully sail a ship
yet for some there is always an uneven keel
some of us just never seem to learn
some people are made of flesh and blood
some people are made of iron and steel
yet some will always drink too much
they just do not seem to be able to feel
some people are made of flesh and blood
perhaps the reality is, these people feel too much
