Crazy Ideas

i am full of crazy ideas
they are there inside my head
you had better watch out
i listen to every word that is said
stories, poems, lyrics all leap onto the paper
all from an overactive brain
did you know your plants grow straighter
if propped up by a bamboo cane
nothing has to rhyme
the poetic police can arrest me
it is not a crime
do not need use fancy, ‘olde’ english words
i write about today
and the things which are absurd
poetry, writing, it is good –
when the writer enjoys reading it
cannot criticise my work,
if you do not like, that is tough shit
