Crazy Ideas
I am full of crazy ideas.
They are there inside my head;
you had better watch out!
I listen to every word that is said.
Stories, poems, and lyrics all leap onto the paper,
all from an overactive brain.
Did you know your plants grow straighter
if propped up by a bamboo cane?
Nothing has to rhyme;
the poetic police can arrest me—
it is not a crime.
I do not need to use fancy, ‘olde’ English words.
I write about today
and the things which are absurd.
Poetry, writing—it is good!
When the writer enjoys reading it,
you cannot criticise my work;
if you do not like it, that is tough shit!
