A Fear is Not a Fact (Originally Untitled) – Written Monday 28th January 2013 (Aged 37)

A Fear is Not a Fact

a fear is not a fact
an opinion
is not evidence
say so,
is just the old heave ho
a fear can be a map
an opinion though
is not a fact
a fear can drive you
just as,
insecurity can misguide you
”i think…”
it is not enough
”i assume…”
can only be that
it is not evidence
it is not solid fact
and no one can know
without evidence
not gossip and say so
”i believe…”
should not change –
to a blind, i absolutely do know
a fear is not a fact
and despite all the protests
evidentially, that is that
