Letting You Go is Painful
letting you go is painful
and not done with consummate ease
finally letting go,
finally, without reservation
having to move on
a friendship could be salvaged
or even saved
it just requires honesty
and for me to be self brave
show me now
what our friendship really means
convince me that with some polish
it will once again gleam
letting you go is painful
