Stick With The One You Love

i cannot begin –
to express my anger
in the words i have

i cannot begin –
to explain how i feel
i did everything
to subdue the crush
to put up barriers
in a forward rush

i did everything –
to tell them to go back –
stick with the one
who they actually love
avoid me, i am a distraction
i am not your reasons
just a quick reaction

to suggest –
i encouraged it
that i fed off the attention

i cannot begin –
to express my anger
and my advice is simple
untie the blame –
from the ship’s mast
and look after your garden
if you want people to stay –
off the grass
