I Remain Unimpressed

i remain unimpressed
more or less
under duress
lampshades and caress
preach a bible
that appears tidal
and propping up faith
with a balloon or two

i remain unimpressed
more is less
do your best
act like this is a contest
preach a sermon
that appears whole
but one that plays leftfield
and scores an own goal
