Is There a Reward for Clever


is there a reward for clever –
these days –
you can do no better
than become a celebrity cult
or a word that sounds similar
these days –
people become over familiar
in funeral parlours too
makes you sick and uneasy
talent too few
this ignorance makes me queasy
these days –
i fear that society –
has finally eaten itself
and finally gone completely mad
then it is never been perfect
and it has never been fair
these days –
seem more than semi tragic
with no reward for clever
or being special or inspiration
it leaves me in a sweat
and too much perspiration
is there a reward for clever
what a sorry, sorry situation
