Do We Notice?
sometimes we reflect the past
hope no one notices
but feel lonely when they walk past
railroads of the future
stations go by very fast
we construct a vision
a life, a view,
we populate the world
and never say anything new
we pretend we are something
we are clearly not
we hope no one notices,
and then feel sad, when we are forgot
these dreams of love
that become our life’s lot
the ones that can so easily be forgot
