Love is Acceptance

love is acceptance
of who we are
it is not hurtful honesty
it is the capturing
of beautiful fantasy
and working hard to create a future
no so much a roadmap
with certain directions
just the paths we could take
with many locations
where we could take a break
you may think that i am wrong
but who is say that you are right
when you tell me that you love me
when you hold me tight
i do not need the harshness
a lack of light
i do not want pretence
but as i said at the beginning
love is acceptance
it is a shared dream happily swimming
