Add a Carnival to Your Touch
grow up,
those parents crippled you
they left you –
with disease
pick the scabs –
from your knees
hug a boy –
one you have just found
gain planning consent
and redesign your lost and found
add a fete
and a carnival to your touch
make friends
and have pictures taken –
with arms outstretched
and the frame not yet broken
why do these people –
keep it all at home?
