People Do Not Listen
sometimes it just hurts
and there,
is no real explanation
i opened doors
but it is hard
to change certain situations
my narrative
is a story written in stone
and the words will not change
it is not enough to feel alone
is that,
what this is about
knowing your place
i never really connected
with the role models
offered to me
and my opinion did not count
respect was expected
it was meant to be a, ‘given’
but it never works
when people do not listen
