Fermenting – Written Wednesday 12th November 2014 (Aged 39)

Fermenting

some people –
feel,
they are the only ones
ever to feel sad
climbed a ladder
soaked up a fad
i learned sad,
from a dedicated dad
who felt –
that being sad
was something that –
needed to sink
so he hit upon a wheeze
of fermenting it in drink
some people –
feel,
they know, ‘alcoholics’
why the demons
find comfort in glasses
and tumblers
some people –
need chocolates and passes
adults,
stuck in children’s classes
