Others Need to Shine
i do not push
just stamp
but i should push
because
when push comes to shove
it is,
not enough
others need to shine
i do not manage
but i think i cope
at least i do not have to –
feel the punchline of the joke
i do not push
others will trample
or stampede
my doormat is weary
and not ready to recede
