A Safer Place?
they tell us,
that the world is a safer place
how can i believe that
i do not see that on the blood stained faces
how can they stand up there
and tell us,
that the terrorists will learn
when society has to close in
and we see bodies burn
these dangerous men
should be taken away
the world now is not for children
those so innocent and so young
it is a world of mass killing
amidst the rule of easily bought guns
these stupid naive fools
with their hidden agendas
they make my blood boil
hope is the only thing i have to surrender
knowing that the worlds stability
is always fuelled by oil
they tell us,
that the world is a safer place
i have just seen my newspaper again
and i see more blood and more innocent faces
