Big Cats and Wild Boar
desperation will haunt these eyes
if i do not get this job
we have sat on the cliff
and we have gone to the top
it is a long way down
and desperation
will be the last thing to drown
i need this so much
more than i have ever needed anything
and, that is not over dramatic
in fact it is almost rational!
you do not understand
they have driven me out to the moor
they have left me to be consumed
by the big cats and the wild boar
there is no way back,
so desperation will haunt these eyes
if i do not finally prove myself
and that will be a fading surprise
a dark and lonely road with no cats eyes
