Happy Poem
happy poem
well here it is
it is so happy
that there is nothing to say
happy is not bright
it is bland, if not quite grey
happy meant nothing
and here is the happy poem
guess what,
it has found you
and it cannot make you feel
not like misery
which we all know, is real
at least we can understand
happy poem
is not quite the same
happiness is best kept at home
with the rifles
and the unpaid loan
happy poem
leaves you now
no different from the beginning
just the same somehow
