Goodbye
saying goodbye
is difficult
to hold on, to cling
that is something
and problems it does bring
to let go
to let go of a dreams
of a hope,
of a belief, of a ship
as it sits above your barrier reef
it rips
it hurts
goodbye takes a toll on the eyes
it has a measure
a unit called, ‘sighs’
saying goodbye
hurts so inside
