Politics on the Left
picked out or picked apart
for having political views on the left
because those right wing views
gain such respect
do you see the hope
why people want a change
you are a loony on the left
yet on the right you have free reign
the things once seen as extreme
have become modern day norms
so find yourself on the left
and you will be torn
dare to put your hand up
and ask for some social justice
treated with all the disbelief
of those celebrating summer solstice
dare to ask for some socialism
and those zelous right wingers
distort every component of realism
