Good People Made to Feel Sad
it feels like a let down
that somehow
good people are made to feel sad
all i ever thought
was to revel in the loveliness
of a steady plateau sought
since events have changed things
things just do not seem the same
i am wandering
on a different plane
a place with questions
and an uneven frame
i look at people, tangled up in their lies
wrestling with demons
ones that hold them deep inside
it feels like i am ebbing
and yet just about moving
life, well life it is ever changing
