Aspirational Quotes Have No Meaning

love will live here
if it likes
and aspirational quotes with no meaning
can take a hike
you cannot convince me
that when you dumb it down
you are a real time genius
and that you are being profound
so,
let love live here
in the walls and in the window panes
where our emotions turn up the gain
and memories work hard
to build our relationship different frames
let people revel,
in their trauma
and ill spent expense
let them be unhappy
in the belief that it makes sense
love will live here
because,
it is all ears and it listens
to footsteps on the path
let’s drink from a fountains that pours out our past
