Remember Falling in Love

we try to remember falling in love
we try to remember those days
those days that went by in a flash
and now, in the midst of desolation
we try to claw them back
but our screams are in vain
the tears cannot plug the gaps
or even fill the obvious cracks
they cannot even wash away the pain
and it feels like,
we will never be able to live them again
we try to remember falling love
the first time we kissed,
those days when our very hearts ached
the time when we were first missed
when we were happy,
just to be prisoners of fate
well, that is what we thought
let’s try to fall in love again
if only those original feelings could be caught
