It Rains So Much
it rains so much
i sometime think
my hope will drown
i read about days
that went before
i wonder who i was
and i think about my care
the years –
are mounting up
like a big heap
it rains so much
sometimes i can barely speak
every summer sky
has sprung a leak
and i long for true healer
to warm these feet
