Distorted
living has become distorted
and the dreams i grow
have been aborted
don’t you know me,
learning and changing
getting to know who i can be
getting older and older
shutting the door,
and it gets colder and colder
i guess i just do not know anymore
living has become hard
as i grow with my age
and yes, still i feel
but i am only just opening my eyes
although it is tough
it has become in some ways, harder
