Always Looking
maybe i will lose myself
in where a world where it is grey
maybe i will learn in the future
or maybe i will have it today
i need a place to dream
because it is cold outside here
where is your world?
won’t you let me in,
i need to lie down,
a place to rest my head
i need to hear music around me
not just the voices of the dead
because they tell me of things to come
and i do not like what is being said
sometimes it is all too much
from the sky where it never rains
to the soft feel of your touch
and i know things can be very strange
i have been hurt, just dreaming
and i do not want to be hurt again
i am just searching for a special place
not even really searching for fame
just somewhere to unpack my case
so i can get up and start again
