Give Us Some Room
what can i do
born so out of space
in the wrong time and place
into a world,
i am starting to hate
i hate being invisible on the inside
it seems people only see your face
they never ever give
and they only ever take
everyday i see people
desperate to fall into the shadows
just hide from a world
which is no longer a dream
a nightmare with locked doors
doors that will not let them in
it seems so unfair
the government is corrupt
they do not give a stuff or even care
and it seems, greed is a must
and living in fear, with no one there
it is so hard to trust –
just about anyone
a society that teaches children –
to grow up too quick
teaches them to get laid and drink a bit
and pretend to have seen –
at the age of fourteen
youth goes by so quickly
there is no point worrying too soon
we want some space to grow,
we want some room
