What Does it Mean?

saying things
you never really mean
sitting quietly
head hung in regret
escape back to reality
come back here
because no one
will look for you there
all the demons will be gone
you know, i will help
you know, i will hold you
because i want to hold you
not anyone else
do not run now
look at the sky
know things,
that you are only meant to know –
in your black and white dreams
i will apologise,
if it means anything
but, what does it mean
it must mean something
i would call you anything you want
there is always hope for tomorrow
it does not have to be bad
the supernatural are still all sorrow
making us all sad
with tears of knowing
as we struggle with life
in the art of growing
