Post Era
this is the post era
when past tries to become the future
and fate draws nearer
i hear you
i heard you yesterday
but you have had your time
no one likes what you have to say
now, i have grown up emotionally
in the chase,
i lost my cloak of naivety
suddenly i realised how much i cared
but without that cloak
i felt so naked and bare
and i realised
people are not always there
the tears welled up in my eyes
the world looked dark, almost black
it was like everything should be feared
i held my head back
and the tears fell back down and disappeared
this is the post era
don’t call, i am too close already
and i know, you do not want to be any nearer
