She Was a Girl – Written Tuesday 15th February 1994 and October 1994 (Aged 18/19)

She Was a Girl

she was a girl
a circus freak
her mind was crazy
but her frame was weak
she tried to steal the hearts
of the sad and lonely
and in the graveyard,
she lived with the people so bony
once, she woke me up
in a strangers house
she took his mind
and she knew that people hate
so when they ran
all the thoughts they had, she ate
let me take her out
let me dream with her
i will lock her in her own plane
where the souls have nothing to share
every night you try to steal my soul
don’t you get it?
i am too young to go,
i have too much to do
