trying to forget you
this is where i am
and this is all i am trying to do
i really should forget
it is something i have got to do
you hurt me, almost got me
trying to forget you
wishing that i had never seen
it started out good
but it was not the dream
although i am partly to blame
i almost lost my sight
and drove myself insane
now,
i see you there, someone new
you came along, just in time
now it is me and you
and i am thinking, it is just fine
