Father and Son (What They Should Be) – Written Sunday 6th November 1994 (Aged 19)

Father and Son (What They Should Be)

do not cry, do not weep
gather up your things now child
you have got to sleep
it is getting late
the stars are not hiding no more
the land of imagination cannot wait
go through the night-time door
do not worry now,
do not get scared
i have got you, and so much to share
wake up child
a summers day is here
where the flowers in the meadow –
grow wild
come near, child it is so weird
it could be everything you fear
do not fret, i will be there
i will make it the best, you will see
