Dead or Alive

you are not going to catch them
dead or alive
with your bouts of serial depression
and your wicked confession
they are too special
they are going to survive
dead or alive
and you would be a fool
to think otherwise
and jenny,
jenny made it to the old world
she left her boyfriend pete
and the patter

or little, cute and tiny feet they are alive, going to survive
but she has gone too far
you will not catch her, dead or alive
hiding behind the curtain
that we never see,
nothing is certain
they are so free,
there is no need to cry
you will not ever have them
dead or alive
and no one ever knows why
