Cleared – Written Monday 14th November 1994 (Aged 19)

as soon as you are out
you are knocking next door
for the girl who wears flowers
but she does not want you anymore
she has got a new friend
and it is all so weird,
a teenager in danger
and not a thing is clear
once every two weeks
is just not enough
how are we meant to eat
but you know it is better
than being on the streets
it is an android world
and i am sure –
we are all dead already
this harsh life may not affect me
but it does exist –
in someone’s reality
everybody wants to know
just what is going on
we are living in fear
the past has gone but the future is near
