Paintings Just Need a Frame

you are a fabulous museum
with the –
most beautiful works or art
but,
when the roof leaks
and there is incoming rain
then i feel
your paintings just need a frame
the pictures are beautiful
brush strokes to admire
scenes to take your breath away
colours to inspire
but it is hard to change
when buildings need urgent repair
remember though,
you are a beautiful museum
and i always curate your care
but,
i know clouds remain
i know your paintings are beautiful
they just need a frame
