Tuesdays

tuesdays are tough
because i am on the run
and it is not much fun
another number –
that does not mean much
and another person to avoid
tuesdays are just so strange
what was your name?
i cannot see
it does not really matter
you will never remember me
i might as well –
be the mad hatter
and you can be alice
alone in the alternative wonderland
tuesdays…
the day i do not always understand
the day when i am a cliched man
but i am just growing up
and i am no longer so young
