Spirit – Written Monday 21st November 1994 (Aged 19)

Spirit

i am a spirit
just like you
i am a spirit
always going to be
beside you
with you
holding you
telling you that today
the demons are gone
they are far away
i met a mage
they said –
we are all spirits
locked in a cage
then they disappeared
their reasons
were are not clear
i am thinking about that
as spirits, we will fly
and don’t you know why
