Power Struggle – Written Tuesday 6th April 2021 (Aged 46)

Power Struggle

everything is a power struggle
or debate
power is not shared
and that culls some peoples fate
equality
is a power reality
a resetting of the switch
oppression tries to knock it down
so power gives us a lift
everything is a power struggle
or debate
whose voice is louder –
perched up there on the soapbox or crate?
equality
does not even up the score
so humility leaves
and anger starts to kick down the door
