The Identity of Snow- Written April 2021 (Aged 46)

The Identity of Snow

some people clearly face a challenge
to define who they are
identity is complex
identity is a complex
and words need context
some people
who would rather throw stones
live by rivers
and ride bikes alone
what do we do about those,
we feel we do not understand
is the clue
in the feet of the static dancer
in the pursuit of intelligent answers
just too much
even if simplicity is a chancer
i see people i know
question the identity of snow
is it ice or a combination of flakes
can it define itself as snow
if is gone before daybreak
and can all snow settle on the same ground?
