I Could Join Hands – Written Monday 26th July 2010 (Aged 35)

I Could Join Hands

i want the belief
that –
i know i am okay
that –
i do understand
that there is a joke
that –
i finally understand
i could join hands
i could join hands
what could be worse
a life –
that –
sinks without trace
one where people skate
upon the lines of your face
i saw a vendor
occupy a different space
it is not the result
or even the chase
that –
signals my intent
i am a broom maker
trying to clear up a mess
