Goodbyes
goodbyes do not feel so good
they are tough on the eyes
they are a well of tears
saying goodbye,
to so many years
one day, we will meet someone
and stop feeling so alone
one day we will be like the sun
maybe, i will get a place of my own
goodbyes, they left me sad tonight
and i did cry a little
isn’t it strange, don’t you think
because we have always appeared brittle
skating in this rink
but tonight, we did not feel so little
our feelings felt as big as the universe
but it is too late
there is no point in feeling as big as the sky
we have never felt real fate
that is why it was time to say goodbye
