Chairs
you can sit on your chairs
judgement day,
was not meant to be done by three
and no, i do not subscribe
you cannot judge me,
on who i am
or what i want to be
i live for those around
and to preserve my individuality
that is my reality
you can sit on your chairs
you can crowd round
but i am the one who is swimming
you can choose to drown
each to their own
i try to understand you
but you do not leave me alone
my reasons are mine
you can sit on your chairs
heaven is now
not from ascending death’s own stairs
