There Are Better Ways to Dine
i cannot enjoy what i hate
i am chipping away,
at my dinner plate
the potatoes are fine
but when i am late
it is because i do not want to dine
there are better ways to live
i know of them
i just have not found them
i believe them,
but i have not achieved them
you add pressure,
then you add it to more pressure
i would like to care,
but i do not
i would like you to understand
but you will not
i would like to make a meal
of this job of mine
but anyone who feels
knows, there are better ways to dine
