Just Like it Is

just like it is
we can’t expect a super invention
one that will tell me how it is
just like it is
freedom is a long way off
but everyone is searching everywhere
everyone needs a little self satisfaction
a case of personal highs
just like it is
deep inside
because the answer hibernates and hides
it sleeps and it walks and often talks
but the answer is always confusing
and the illusion of life
means it is the thing you are always losing
just like it is
always and always
