Bridges to Mend
You are really good to me,
you treat me right.
I do not expect anyone
to feel for me.
So still, I fight.
I am sorry, so sorry.
Do not worry,
I will make it up to you tonight.
Take you out,
it will be alright.
You are so good to me,
so good
that I can hardly believe
that you are so good,
especially when I am only me.
I could be a friend,
right to the end.
There are things to make
and bridges to mend.
