Across the Wildest Seas
You can walk across –
heaven’s most wildest seas,
to the land –
we never knew existed.
You can take my mind,
open it up,
and get through my imagination.
Take a peek inside,
see what you can find.
I could see you,
far away,
sitting there,
under the sun,
soul so old,
body so young.
The day became so cold
as we lost the sun,
but it is alright now.
Loneliness is in another land,
in a house on its own,
with a person holding their hand.
That person must be so alone,
but they will find something.
Just take a walk tonight,
get out and see yourself,
across the wildest seas
that lie beyond the clouds.
I know your mind is weird,
it is the things you say,
the way that you fear,
yet you always live for today.
