Come Back – Written Thursday 23rd February 1995 (Aged 19)

Come Back

won’t you see the space –
opening up before you
won’t you be there
when it all comes crashing down
it has got to be real
before i can even consider –
saying it is good
won’t you realise your mind
and start believing in yourself
there is a sign
that is as clear as it can be
you will know it when you see it
and soon, you will really see
won’t you come back to the world
the one you left when you –
no longer thought you were a child
