Asteroid Belt
i noticed the picture had changed
from anonymous,
to slightly more glad
more make up, more sex
but i am sure they will still be sad
you can jump beds
but really it is a pointless fad
relationships,
should not leave you sexless
a being with no thoughts
and no identity
or a future that you feel is pre-taught
i can realise
that it is a process to go through
but it is an asteroid belt of clichés
find yourself, like yourself, be yourself
and those rocks may not strike
with the sting of truth
the sort of truth you deeply fear
but once you are through the asteroid belt
it all becomes clear
i noticed the picture had changed
but inside, deep inside
has anything actually being rearranged?
